15 lis 2023 · If you have an internal leak from the intake to the lifter valley you should (eventually) see smoke coming from the oil fill cap on the valve cover (intake leak -> lifter valley -> crank case -> valve cover).

7 lut 2010 · If the leak is between the exchange and the block/head then the intake gasket probably failed. You will have to pull the intake manifold to reseal. While you have the intake off be sure to check it thoroughly for cracks, its uncommon for these to fail but anything can happen.
18 kwi 2020 · I have a 94 ford ranger xlt w/ 4.0L v6. I've changed the intake manifold gasket three times now and the leak does not stay away. It leaks from the rear closest to the firewall where one would apply sealant. There is some minor pitting in that area, but nothing too bad.
