The 36th annual “Praise the Lard 2023 Murphysboro Barbecue Cook-Off” starts Thursday, September 21, through Saturday, September 23. Almost fifty barbecue teams will compete in this fantastic event, tri-sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society, Memphis Barbecue Network, and the Steak Cook-Off Association.
