15 kwi 2024 · Ok so I am trying a manual conversion on my 63 more doors and I got a really good deal on a 1968 m21 muncie 4 speed. The research I had done was more about fit than anything else. But now I am actually looking at how it will drive or maybe IF it will drive.

Expect to find various combinations out there because these high-performance four-speed transmissions have been thrashed, trashed, and rebuilt through the decades.
14 paź 2008 · I picked up a Muncie 4speed (I believe it's a M21) from a body shop. The guy just gave it to me. I know it is a GM and Fords use Toploaders but I wanted to know if these were worth the trouble to install in my 73 Gran Torino?
25 paź 2024 · According to Cangialosi, GM took the basic T-10 design and beefed it up to conceive the Muncie M20 and M21 four-speed transmissions, which arrived in 1963. GM’s goal with the Muncie four-speed was to produce a better shift employing larger synchro cones.
