You get up to 50 or so with your normal tranny, hit a button, and it shifts into "fourth" gear and you can continue on.

  2. 4 maj 2014 · Squirrel is right, it is an assembly and they didn't service any pieces. I used to pull the bronze rings out from abusing the transmission (that's another story). I modified a pair of snap-ring pliers to let me pull the syncro blocks out and then tap the bronze rings back in and restake them. Then re-install the blocks. Almost like a new syncro.

  7. 29 mar 2015 · I believe that most any later model GM three speed will bolt in but might need a different clutch disk due to different spline count on the input shaft. From looking at pictures on CL I think you would need to use your original shifter arms on the transmission.
