Updated Mun biome map (with legend) Hello everyone, I was preparing a science mission to the Mun when I noticed that the only updated biome map for 1.2 and above don’t have a legend, and in the case of the wiki, the map has many similar colors so I decided to modify it to make it easier to read.
Mun (czy też Mün) jest dużym księżycem orbitującym wokół Kerbinu. Jest odpowiednikiem ziemskiego Księżyca. Ma kolor szary, pokryty jest kraterami różnej wielkości i szczytami przekraczającymi 3400 m wysokości. Można wykorzystać go jako procę grawitacyjną aby dotrzeć do Minmusa lub na orbitę słoneczną.
1 maj 2023 · This update changed the model of the Mun Arch located at 12° 27′ 2″ N 39° 11′ 45″ E. The rock face near the peak of the arch is destroyed, and a yellow structure is visible underneath. This structure has glowing circles.
4 lip 2024 · Mun visual map (Imgur) Observation from Kerbin. The Mun's orbit keeps it directly above Kerbin's equator. Because the Mun is tidally locked to Kerbin with a perfectly circular, non-inclined orbit, exactly 50% of the Mun's surface (excluding areas on the edge obscured by the Mun's mountains) is ever visible from Kerbin.
1.7 Mun Biome Map. This is an update to my previous post. The biome map used the default colors from the game, but they are pretty terrible for visibility. What I tried do was create a printable map that one could mark up to note missions. Mun Biome Map V2.
Mun Biome Map v. 2.0 (With Key) Decided to make my own version of a Mun biome map, as I was tired of constantly having to Google it when I needed to, and the map on the KSP wiki doesn't have a key and is a mess of different shades of the same color.
6 kwi 2023 · Has anyone done a map using the actual view of Mun, and annotated the specific biomes? I like to put that info on my flags when I plant them :-)
