22 sty 2023 · When you are ready, just start burning prograde until you get an orbit around Kerbin and an escape trajectory from the Mun. An easier way to do this is to just burn upwards from launch sending you straghit up to an escape trajectory (about 2,000km).
9 lut 2022 · The effect of this maneuver is increasing your speed relative to the Mun but reduce your speed relative to Kerbin as you are burning in opposite direction to movement of the Mun around Kerbin. This helps to easily get a Kerbin orbit with a the lowest point of orbit (periapsis) close to Kerbin.
So, you only have to get a moderate escape from Mun orbit and almost surely you'll end orbiting Kerbin. For best results do the maneuver while opposite Kerbin. Then simply burn retrograde until you hit the ground.
Best way is to first get a nice circular Kerbin orbit, let's say at 100km. Then hit m so you are in solar system view and zoom out so you can see the mun and rotate the camera so that the mun is at about 2oclock relative to Kerbin. Then you burn prograde at 6ocklock for about 800dv.
The best way to do this is to have your apoapsis at ~11,200,000m and then move the node around Kerbin until you get a Mun intercept. Adjust the position and power of the node until the Mun periapsis is where you want it.
