  4. Best way is to first get a nice circular Kerbin orbit, let's say at 100km. Then hit m so you are in solar system view and zoom out so you can see the mun and rotate the camera so that the mun is at about 2oclock relative to Kerbin. Then you burn prograde at 6ocklock for about 800dv.

  5. It's possible you're just making very inefficient maneuvers. Try the Scott Manley tutorials on Youtube. I think #8 or #9 he goes to the Mun and back. Also, maybe consider getting a license to Fraps or some other recording software, so you can upload videos to youtube.

  6. Landing on Minmus is much easier than on the Mun so that would be another good place to start. Have a look at a delta-v map and make sure you have a lot more than you need for each part of the trip. There's lots of great video tutorials on YouTube now, Mike Aben's are my personal favourite.
