  2. So, you only have to get a moderate escape from Mun orbit and almost surely you'll end orbiting Kerbin. For best results do the maneuver while opposite Kerbin. Then simply burn retrograde until you hit the ground.

  3. Best way is to first get a nice circular Kerbin orbit, let's say at 100km. Then hit m so you are in solar system view and zoom out so you can see the mun and rotate the camera so that the mun is at about 2oclock relative to Kerbin. Then you burn prograde at 6ocklock for about 800dv.

  4. 22 sty 2023 · When you are ready, just start burning prograde until you get an orbit around Kerbin and an escape trajectory from the Mun. An easier way to do this is to just burn upwards from launch sending you straghit up to an escape trajectory (about 2,000km).

  5. 4 lip 2024 · The Mun, is a large satellite orbiting Kerbin. It is mostly gray in appearance, with craters of various sizes dotting its otherwise smooth surface. The Mun’s discovery is widely regarded as one of the more important breakthroughs of Kerbal evolution.

  6. The Mun is a large moon orbiting Kerbin, and the inner moon of Kerbin. It is the larger sibling of Kerbin's other moon, Minmus. The Mun does not have an atmosphere, and has one-sixth the surface gravity of Kerbin. The surface is gray and barren, saturated in craters of various sizes...

  7. You can go to the Mun and return with a few kerbals using simple pods. My advise : build a rocket made like the KerbalX one : - Asparagus built and ditch a booster as soon as it is empty. - Bring the core booster to LKO with enough deltav left to make the Trans Munian Injection.
