The Mun is a large moon orbiting Kerbin, and the inner moon of Kerbin. It is the larger sibling of Kerbin's other moon, Minmus. The Mun does not have an atmosphere, and has one-sixth the surface gravity of Kerbin. The surface is gray and barren, saturated in craters of various sizes...
4 lip 2024 · ksp 2: Kerbin's closest extraterrestrial body, the Mun is a prime destination for early space missions. Its orbit's inclination and eccentricity match Kerbin's, so SOI transfers are as easy as forgetting ladders!
Mun, also known as the Mün, is a large moon orbiting Kerbin. It can be thought of as an analogue to our own Moon. It is gray in appearance with craters of various sizes and mountains exceeding 3400 m in height. The gravitational pull the surface is 1.63 m/s², 8.18 m/s² less than that of Kerbin...
16 paź 2024 · Kerbin, the home planet in Kerbal Space Program, boasts two natural satellites: the larger Mun and the smaller Minmus. The Mun, resembling Earth's moon, is characterized by its gray, cratered surface, offering ample opportunities for exploration and scientific research.
As soon as the mun comes over the Kerbin's horizon, start burning prograde, and switch to map view to monitor the progress. After about 900m/s, you'll have an intercept. If you want something more precise, set the Mun as target and create a maneuver node.
Dude, it's very simple. Get into Mun orbit. Then any escape attempt will place you first in an orbit around Kerbin and then around Kerbol itself. So, you only have to get a moderate escape from Mun orbit and almost surely you'll end orbiting Kerbin.
