In this lesson I give you an in-depth, detailed analysis the many ways in which the mTOR pathway is regulated by nutrient signaling pathways and cellular stress pathways such as DNA damage...
15 wrz 2020 · WHAT IS THE mTOR PATHWAY? And what effect does it have on aging? And how to balance or inhibit the mTOR pathway. These are some of the subjects we’ll be d...
2 cze 2024 · Embedded in a complex network of signaling pathways, mTOR dysregulation is implicated in the onset and progression of a range of human diseases, including metabolic disorders such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, as well as various cancers. mTOR also has a notable role in aging.
27 lip 2016 · Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) signalling is tightly regulated at different levels: ligand and receptor expression, the presence of co-receptors and accessory proteins (that...
14 sty 2020 · Studies of the mechanistic (mammalian) target of rapamycin inhibitors (mTOR) represent a step towards the targeted treatment of gynecological cancers. It has been shown that women with increased levels of mTOR signaling pathway targets have worse prognosis compared to women with normal mTOR levels.
Here, we review recent advances in our understanding of mTOR function, regulation, and importance in mammalian physiology. We also highlight how the mTOR signaling network contributes to human disease and discuss the current and future prospects for therapeutically targeting mTOR in the clinic.
