Mount Le Conte (or LeConte) is a mountain located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Sevier County, Tennessee. At 6,593 ft (2,010 m) it is the third highest peak in the national park, behind Clingmans Dome (6,643 ft (2,025 m)) and Mount Guyot (6,621 ft (2,018 m)).

25 maj 2023 · Alum Cave Trail is one of the iconic hikes in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You will find spectacular vistas from the top of Mt LeConte, a cool “cave” (really Alum Cave is a giant bluff but still awesome), a tunnel, and fantastic views along the hike up, which is a rarity in the Smokies because most trails are so densely forested.

It is a long way to the top but it’s an interesting experience, hiking through caves and along trails that, at times, cling to the side of the mountain. On a clear day, the view from the top of Mt. LeConte can be magnificent.
