7 kwi 2019 · If the yahoo account is set up as a connected account in Outlook.com, you will need to change the password in settings > sync email. If you are using the yahoo address as a microsoft account login, the account can (and should) use a different password than you use for email at yahoo.com.
If you intend to change your email password, you must do that with your email provider (e.g., Microsoft 365, Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, Xfinity, or a corp. Exchange server). Then you will need to update the password in Outlook.
