Mr. Boogedy is a 1986 family short film directed by Oz Scott and written by Michael Janover. It was developed as a television pilot [1][2] and aired as an episode of The Disney Sunday Movie. A sequel named Bride of Boogedy aired in 1987. [3]

Osborne Scott (born September 16, 1949) is an American television and film director and producer. He is most known for Mr. Boogedy, an award-winning short film. Born in Hampton, Virginia, Scott attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and earned a MFA before he began his career in Washington D.C. 's Arena Stage.
