Questions about workflow, software, codecs, resolutions, etc. It wasn't until I got the job offer e-mail that I realized this was a scam when I was told that they were going to send me a cheque to pay for equipment that I needed to purchase in order to log into their servers remotely.
There are various reputable and legit "expert network" companies (search this subreddit for that term), such as GLG. I can imagine some of them might be borderline sketchy though. These companies basically scout potentially knowledgeable people on certain (niche) industries for "expert interviews".
Based off of the post that I made a couple days ago, here's a list of shady companies that you might want to be aware of. Some of these are straight up scams and others are companies with questionable practices. Feel free to comment any others that you'd like for me to add on.
26 wrz 2022 · Total Scam. I tried to purchase office 2021. My transaction went through, and they sent me a code that has already been used. When confronted, they stated just try to use the phone way. This company is not what they say, no way they are in WY, as they answered my emails 4am WY time.
