1 gru 2006 · About once a month there is a post asking for recommendations for "on-line" printing labs. The most recent led me to test Mpix. Received my first "test" prints today, and they are outstanding. Details follow. I started using pro labs about 7 years ago.

Do test prints somewhere else. Bayphoto or WHCC. Or better yet, try to find a local lab you can walk in to. If the test prints turn out as desired, you know MPix is the problem. It's further evidence they messed something up. If the test prints look like MPix's did, you know it's on your setup.
MpixPro is intended for the inbetweens...probably working professionally but maybe not on a large scale. Millers is for professionals who are looking to deal with a professionals-only lab. I got this far: "Plus free shipping and phone support.

I've been using MPIX for prints because that seems to be the best that I can do, but is it possible for me as a non-professional to get prints (particularly large wall-style prints and books) that are of the quality printed by these labs?
