26 gru 2018 · The Mobil1 5W50 I believe uses a higher quality base oil and has a lower hot viscosity, which leads me to believe it has less VII's and, therefore, less sheering. Mobil1 is also A3/B4 which I believe Motorcraft is not.
13 sie 2010 · 5W50 is the OEM spec oil for the GT500. Oil pressure gauge reads the same at beginning and end of OCI. Yes I am currently using Red Line 5W50 in the 5.4L motor. Red Line 5W50 is a thick oil but at 100 degree C, it is a 50 grade oil just like the Motorcraft so I don't see where you are evaluating it is 2 grades thicker than MC.

18 mar 2022 · I had engine replaced in my 2017 and will be doing the first oil change soon. With the original engine I use the Motorcraft. I know there are alternatives and I'd like to get other's thoughts. Also, how is the availability of the cartridge filters? And where is the best place to buy oil and filter?
