28 wrz 2024 · The specimen of Morchella was identified to be Morchella sp. Mel-21 based on multi-gene phylogenetic analyses. Based on morphological observations, the slime molds were first considered to belong to the genus Dictyostelium and were further inferred to be D. implicatum by molecular phylogenetic analysis.
Here, we review recent research progress in the genus Morchella, and focus on its taxonomy, species diversity and distribution, ecological diversity, phylogeny and biogeography, artificial cultivation, and genome.
30 sty 2023 · In general, the reproduction and transmission of fungi can be carried out via asexual (or mitospores) and/or sexual spores (or meiotic spores), which can be haploid, diploid or polyploid, with each one having their own characteristics in terms of morphology, size and ornamentation color.
30 mar 2018 · Morchella esculenta (L.) Pers. (Morchellaceae) is a species of edible mushroom. Due to its distinctive and precise flavor, it has been used as a food and food-flavoring material in soups and...
6 paź 2022 · In this study, we determined the identification efficiency of DNA barcoding and species classification of 260 individuals from 45 Morchella species, on the basis of multiple nuclear DNA markers. DNA barcoding analysis showed that the individual DNA fragment has a lower resolution of species identification than that of combined multiple DNA markers.
18 mar 2021 · Multilocus rpb1 + rpb2 + tef-1 ancestral area reconstruction (AAR) of the Morchella genus, using 79 Morchella species and the DEC (dispersal-extinction cladogenesis) model in BioGeoBEARS R...
20 sty 2017 · Methods for assessing morphological features in Morchella are delineated, and a key to the known phylogenetic species of Morchella in North America is provided. Type studies of M. crassistipa, M. hotsonii, M. angusticeps and M. punctipes are provided.
