Constructed from the 10th century, the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel houses architectural treasures in Carolingian, Romanesque, and Gothic styles. It is divided into two main parts: the abbey church, located at the top of the Mont’s rock, and the Marvel (La Merveille), which rises on three levels on the side of the rock.

Providing a sumptuous illustration of monastic life over the centuries, the visit presents all the spaces dedicated to daily life (refectory, cloister, scriptorium, etc.), to religious life (abbey church, chapels, and crypts) and to welcoming pilgrims (chaplaincy, guest room, and more) across several levels.
Inside Mont Saint Michel Abbey, visitors can admire the impressive church dedicated to Saint Michael, with its stunning stained glass windows and arches. The church houses a statue of the saint slaying a dragon, and there are also several chapels within the abbey, including the Chapel of Saint Martin and the Chapel of Saint Aubert.
