7 sty 2010 · Monster Farm Lagoon was a Template:Ns hosted by Gamespot. It was the second of the Monster Rancher games to be released online, but it was a far more developed version of Monster Farm Online, and used more structure in the breeds and level set-up of the game itself.
I play MR 2 almost religiously (like every year I revisit it) and I always imagined what it would be like. I think I would love to have a MR game that works as 1/2 dungeon crawler or open world exploration and the rewards in that overworld gave you ingredients and parts randomly to spin monsters for the other 1/2 that played like MR 2.
I was wondering if there's any hardcore Monster Farm fans around with the skills and dedication to undertake a reverse engineering project of the old Monster Farm Lagoon game that shut down in 2010. I have the files for the game client side, and I can translate the Japanese.
