Does this verse indicate that Noah had triplets? Or simply that both Shem, Ham and Japheth were prominent persons, and although born at different times, their names were recorded for posterity due to their prominence as three of the eight on the Ark and the fathers of the post flood World?
29 cze 2013 · Are There Triplets In the Bible? That’s a good question. Two verses suggest this might be the case. In Genesis 5:32 we read that Noah lived 500 years and begat Shem, Ham and Japheth. Then again we read in Genesis 11:26 that Terah lived 70 years and begat Abram (Abraham), Nahor and Haran.

25 paź 2006 · The Scripture says that after 70 years, Terah had his 3 sons. Were Abram, Nahor, and Haran triplets, or is this verse saying that all three boys were born during those 70 years? This continues to be a fun exercise. Never realized the huge overlap of generations.
