21 cze 2023 · The Mono Truss is configurable in a range of sizes with typical spans between 16’-40’ (4.9-12.2 m) and overall heights of 5’4”-40’ (1.63-12.2 m). The thickness of wood trusses is commonly 1.5”, 3”, or 4.5” (3.8, 7.6, 11.4 cm). Trusses have a pitch ratio typically between 1:1 to 1:6.
Roof Truss Span Tables. Alpine truss designs are engineered to meet specific span, configuration and load conditions. The shapes and spans shown here represent only a fraction of the millions of designs produced by Alpine engineers. Total load(PSF) Duration factor. Live load(PSF) Roof type.
At Minera Roof Trusses we often use mono trusses in combination with raised tie roofs and lattice trusses as shown in the image below. The lattice trusses will span along the apex between the raised tie trusses.
This document provides roof truss span tables for different roof configurations including common, mono, scissors, and flat roofs. It lists the top and bottom chord sizes and maximum span lengths in feet for various roof pitches, truss depths, and load conditions.
You can use SBCA’s span charts to roughly determine truss sizes available. Included are a series of representative roof truss span tables that will give you an idea of the truss spans available for a particular load condition, load duration, lumber type, and truss configuration.
Hipped roofs constructed with trussed rafters typically require a series of diminishing mono-pitched trusses supported by a girder truss. The bearing of mono-pitched trusses into shoes should be in accordance with Table 1, unless designed by an engineer in accordance with Technical Requirement R5.
This online truss calculator will determine the all-in cost of your truss based on key inputs related to the pitch, width and overhang of your roof. It will use the current cost of wooden rafters based on the average price found at home improvement stores.
