  5. To clarify, the 8 pin on the motherboard is an EPS header for your CPU. You keep talking about GPU power, which is a DIFFERENT 8 pin connector that would be attached directly to the GPU if required. Lower end GPUs get enough power through the PCI slot via the 24 pin connector.

  7. 23 kwi 2021 · you'd be very correct. Hobbyists keep old PSUs for cables, because buying anything online right now is going to be fake, except from mauser/digikey, but there you need to know all the specs of what you want and buy in high volume, it's easier to cut the psu cables off.
