7 lis 2023 · Definitely not with that psu. I’d really only recommend using molex to pcie adapters with psu up to the task, or at least one you’re certain of in terms of its capability.
1 sty 2022 · So no, a 2x molex => 8 pin CPU would not be safe and adequate, but if you have an ancient power supply that has no 8 pin cpu connectors, it would work if you have very low power processors, like let's say a 4 core or maybe a 6 core processor, which won't consume more than around 60-80 watts.
