Great War Redux, by far. Alternate paths, opportunities to avoid the war and take it in a different direction, lots of flavor. The Great War is so bland and railroaded, with most focuses not having any descriptions and frequent missing localizations. Most focuses are just copy/paste.
Alternate history mods are some of the most ambitious & fun changes for HOI4. We get such diverse scenarios as “the Central powers winning the Great War”, and “the Entente winning the Great War”, or even “Russia winning the Great War”.
