Mobile Country Codes (MCC) identify the country to which a mobile subscriber belongs. This specification is set by the GSMA and is used in all wireless telephone networks (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, etc.). By combining both the MCC and MNC you get the HNI (Home Network Identity).
