MILogin is a new single sign on system that connects your unemployment account through the Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM) and your jobseeker account through Pure Michigan Talent Connect (PMTC). You must create MILogin account before you can create or access your MiWAM account.
From the UIA home page, Michigan.gov/UIA, click on File for Unemployment Benefits, then Sign In With MILogin. If you have already created a MiLogin account with another department, use your existing user ID and password to log in to the MiLogin portal.
MiWAM is the UIA's system for managing your own unemployment insurance account online. With MiWAM you can: Check claim balance and benefit payment history. Update personal information. Choose or change payment method (debit card or direct deposit). Make a payment. File a protest or appeal a decision. Submit monthly work search information.
If you are beginning the process at Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM): Visit https://miwam.unemployment.state.mi.us/ClmMiWAM. OR www.michigan.gov/uia and select Online Services from the top menu bar. Click the Sign-In with MILogin button. At the Confirmation pop-up, click SIGN UP to create a new account.
You can log in to your MILogin account from https://miwam.unemployment.state.mi.us/ClmMiWAM OR www.michigan.gov/uia and enter your User ID or Email Address and Password.
On the pop-up screen, select “JOB SEEKER” as the type of account you would like to create. On the Confirmation pop-up, click “SIGN UP” to create a new MILogin account OR on the Confirmation pop-up, click “LOGIN” to sign into an existing account.
In order to create a MiWAM account, a claim must have been filed with the Agency within the last two years. To access MiWAM, enter the address below in your web browser.
