I found a 1998 3000gt sl for 5k with 120k miles on it. Another is 1900 for 160k which seems less promising with how much has been put on it. But my question is with these mileages and use, how hard/easy would it be to maintain a 3000gt.

5 lis 2018 · Mitsubishi 3000GT common problems. Parts are available from specialists and can be costly. It’s almost always more cost effective to get a well sorted car than attempting to fix someone...
If you typically take your cars to a professional mechanic and you're not too familiar with a car's systems, then I don't really recommend the 3000GT. If it's just a daily driver, then I'd recommend the base model with the manual transmission.

14 wrz 2022 · They’re maintenance heavy cars from my experience and although the base models are not unreliable, the VR4’s have a lot of extra tech (and two turbos) that could fail, and working on the vr4 is just exponentially harder than working on the base model if you plan on working on your own car.
