About The Athlete: Melissa Bellinder-Parkin . Missy Parkin became the first woman to join the men's Professional Bowlers Association (PBA). She later went on to become the first woman to win three PBA Regional Titles and earned the highest finish ever by a woman in both 2012 USBC Masters and 2012 PBA US Open. Bowling Evolved. 21 kwi 2006 · Melissa "Missy" Bellinder, 24, Fullerton, CA, started bowling at two-and-a-half years old. Her parents are Pat and Frank Bellinder. Mother used to be a competitive bowler and father has owned and operated a bowling pro shop and been a PBA member since 1969. Father, Frank Bellinder, is Missy's coach. Scott and I met in junior bowling.

7 gru 2007 · Over the four weeks of the PBA Women's Series, bowling alongside the men and at the same venue each week was a great experience. We practiced and qualified together, shared the paddock, ball spinners and equipment workout tables together. As you may notice, we were around each other a lot and often hung out together after competition.
