16 kwi 2016 · I hunt private land and the deer population has been decimated the last couple of years by EHD. Public land that WAS good was The Brickyard and Tarkio Prairies. I'd stay mid-Missouri or NE.
26 lip 2020 · I live in NW Arkansas, and apply every year (modern firearm and muzzleloader) for deer hunts at my 3 closest public land areas. I've drawn 3 out of 4 years, and was successful one of those times.
19 gru 2015 · The best public land opportunities in Missouri are going to be bowhunting the week leading up to the gun season on MDC properties that are actually managed. The national forest is very lightly managed and is basically devoid of enforcement on motor vehicle use.
24 sty 2020 · Anyone have any experience with public land in Missouri? Trying to do a little research on the public land so I can plan a trip or 2 there. I'd be bow hunting only so maybe the pressure wont be as bad. I know they have some big deer and like to possibly have a opportunity.
