18 gru 2019 · Currently 2021-2022 models calls for 5W30. The 2018-2020 were calling for 5W20, all mustang V8s in these model years are identical Gen 3 in terms of internals. The 2015-17 Gen 2 Coyote called for 5W20, and so did the Gen 1 from 2011-2014.
20 gru 2022 · Gen 3 Coyote oil capacity. Hi all, I tried searching this and I could only find threads on an issue that Moroso corrected long ago. So I have a gen 3 Coyote with the Moroso oil pan which was assembled by Mike Forte. 8 quarts of break in oil were included with the engine.
Cylinder Heads: The 2015-2017 Coyote (Gen 2) cylinder heads have improved ports and larger valves – and flow as good as the 2012-2013 BOSS 302 CNC ported heads. The Gen 2 heads can be used on the Gen 1 Coyote block as long as the 2015 Head Gasket is used due to the oil feed hole, check piston to valve clearance.

13 sty 2020 · Thinner oils take less energy to move around, and improve fuel mileage. For racing, Ford recommends a 5W-50 full synthetic oil. For obvious reasons, continuous high RPM use requires a higher viscosity and better heat management. I use 5W-40 Royal Purple.
7 paź 2013 · I use Amsoil in my trailer race car, 10w40 Premium Protection, and in my 5.0 Coyote I use Amsoil 5w20 Signature Series. I've used Amsoil in all my Mustangs and also my John Deere lawn tractor for 7 years now.
