I have 3 good reasons NOT to get a key at a MinuteKey kiosk. Reason #1: The key didn’t work. It wouldn't even go in the lock. Reason #2: Their refund policy is very cumbersome and rigid. They allow 30 for a refund. If you ask on day 31, they refuse the refund. Reason #3: You can get a key made at Ace Hardware or other places much cheaper.

I attempted to copy a key from the kiosk at the N.W. Albuquerque Lowe's. First, the kiosk asked if I'd like an extra brass key for free. I clicked yes. Only later did I learn that the "free" key comes with an order of TWO keys.

Show off to all your lock picking friends by whiping out a Minute key bump key. Or even better, Minute Key blanks. I remember messing with the older generation kiosks ages ago and duplicating non-correctly bitted keys.
