The Minnesota K–12 Academic Standards in English Language Arts (ELA) represent the work of the ELA Standards Review Committee. This committee included K–12 teachers, administrators, college faculty, and representatives of educational and community organizations.

Standards establish high expectations for learning at given grades, provide clear progressions of learning across grades, and guide schools and districts to design, develop, and deliver learning experiences that enable students to successfully complete the standards and benchmarks.
The organization and structure of the 2022 Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards in Mathematics communicate how mathematics education is conceptualized for Minnesota students. The standards are ordered by grade , beginning in kindergarten (represented by zero) and ending in high school (represented by 9).
