19 sie 2020 · Get Minicom on your WSL1 distro. Screen is somewhat persnickety for Serial Port work so try Minicom. Minicom is a nice little text com program. Install with apt install minicom and run for the first time with "sudo minicom -s" to set your default. Note I've change the default port from /dev/modem to /dev/ttyS4 and the speed, in my case, to 9600.
22 maj 2023 · Minicom is not available for Windows but there are some alternatives that runs on Windows with similar functionality. The best Windows alternative is CoolTerm, which is free.

1 paź 2017 · I am trying to download minicom for a FreeRTOS project that I am working on in eclipse with STM32 microcontroller. The minicom application is supposed to allow me to read in keyboard input but it is available for MacOS. Is there a way that I can download it onto Windows?
