18 lip 2017 · Options. Simply unplug the tv, and unplug the cable box. Wait 30 seconds and plug cable box back in. Wait a few minutes then plug tv back in. Power on tv and after cable box completely resets, the dark portion at the top of the screen is gone.

10 mar 2023 · The most likely cause of a darker top of your TV screen is a malfunctioning backlight. To confirm, try turning up the TV’s backlight setting and see if the dark area improves. If it does, then replacing the backlight may be the best solution.
Customer: my Samsung LED Tv ... 1/3 of the screen is dark / illumination is dark. Picture is there, but illumination is dark. On very bright outdoor scenes, the picture/image shows thru... almost as if no problem but otherwise, 1/3 is dark.
11 paź 2023 · To fix a Samsung TV half black screen by either replacing any failed LED backlights or re-soldering any faulty connections between LED strips, or by adding strips of tape to the ribbon cable connecting the T-Con board to the panel to block any faulty clock signals.
27 sie 2018 · After a lot of trial and error this is how. Disconnect all HDMI cables, reset the TV, turn hard off (disconnecting the power), restart without connecting the HDMIs. Sometimes it took a few turns, including re- and disconnecting the HDMI cables in different slots, having the HDMI connected or not upon restart.
