When i connect the display monitor remains black and i hear a Windows beep for hardware change but nothing else….

31 lip 2018 · I'm trying to connect my window laptop to use the 27" iMac as an extended screen. The laptop has a mini-display port and would plan to connect to the Thunder bolt port on the iMac. Do I need to use a "Thunderbolt" cable or will a mini display to mini display cable work?

24 gru 2020 · You need to install proper Thunderbolt drivers on Windows 10. unfortunately Apple doesn’t provide Thunderbolt drivers in their Bootcamp drivers pack. I ended up installing Intel Thunderbolt drivers for NUC via Win Device Manager: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28735/Thunderbolt-3-DCH-Driver-for-Windows-10-for-Intel-NUC
12 lut 2021 · I am so happy with this external Bootcamp setup and full eGPU support. This can be done on any TB3 Mac with any USB 3.0 external drive (preferably SATA/NVME). Specifications:
