  1. 30 lip 2021 · I triend to set up my local minecraft server, after downloading and creating a folder for my server.jar, I clicked on it but it just closed and didnt do anything. I searched for an answer on the web but nothing helped, here some of the things that ive done:

  2. You are missing something from your description of what you see in the .bat file output. At minimum, you would see either a Java error message, or the message that the Java command itself could not be run. My guess would be an error complaining that Java can't allocate that much memory... true.

  3. Every time I open the server jar/exe it just closes directly after opening it. I've use a run.bat file with different bin commands but it still will not stay open for more than 1 second. I've restarted my computer twice, reinstalled the server files, done everything with the "java isn't recognized as a batch file" stuff but still nothing.

  4. 21 maj 2015 · I had the exact same problem. The server closed immediatly after starting it. I tried to remove the ip from server-ip=, and the server didn't close, just like in your case. Then i reentert the exact same ip and suddenly it worked flawlessly.

  5. Im making a minecraft server for me and my friends and server.jar keeps on instantly closing. It was working yesterday but not it will instantly close. Does anyone know why? (Im playing on 1.19.4)

  6. 15 lip 2019 · The server.jar crashes only when I put my Default Gateway in the server-ip= in the Server Properties. When I put anything else or nothing, it doesn't crash, which is weird but it won't open the server if I don't put my ip.

  7. 4 lis 2017 · Make sure you have set all your files up correctly. Download minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar from the official webpage and put it in its own folder. Rather than using a command to run your server, I would recommend using a .bat file for consistency, as well as to facilitate the spotting of errors.
