17 cze 2015 · i have been waiting for this sapling to grow for literally 6 hours now. i do not have access to bones for bonemeal or coal for torches or cobblestne to make a furnace to make the coal, my progress is hindered by the sapling
A cherry tree requires a 5×5 area of unobstructed space 8 blocks above its sapling to grow (9 blocks including the sapling itself). No horizontal clearance is needed at the base of the tree (a sapling planted in a hole 1 block deep can still grow).
23 paź 2024 · Dark oak needs at least 7 spaces above (6×6 column) and must be planted as 4 saplings in a 2×2 square. Cherry needs at least 9 spaces above (5x5 column). In addition: A spruce or jungle sapling cannot grow if it is part of a 2×2 square of saplings that doesn't meet the requirements for a giant tree.
Saplings do not grow when there isn't a player within a certain radius, even if their chunk is loaded. For oak saplings, this check applies to individual blocks; for dark oak, acacia and birch, it applies to each chunk.

Saplings have two growth stages (with no visible difference between them) before growing into trees. When a tree is to be grown, a height is chosen and then the ground and space above are checked; if the ground is bad or there is not space for the chosen height, the tree does not grow.
7 wrz 2022 · Lot of possible reasons. If it’s not rendered in, time won’t pass for it to grow, so you have to be nearby.
