17 cze 2015 · To be exact, in the code there is a 1 in 7 chance of a block tick advancing the growth stage of a sapling; this means that 14 block ticks are required to grow a sapling (this is TWO stages, not three, since the first successful attempt will set the growth bit to 1, then the next will grow the sapling); 14 ticks is 955.78 seconds or about 16 ...
23 paź 2024 · When a tree is to be grown, a height is chosen and then the ground and space above are checked; if the ground is bad or there is not space for the chosen height, the tree does not grow. Bone meal can be used to speed up the growth of the sapling, even to grow the tree without sufficient light.
Lot of possible reasons. If it’s not rendered in, time won’t pass for it to grow, so you have to be nearby.
Saplings do not grow when there isn't a player within a certain radius, even if their chunk is loaded. For oak saplings, this check applies to individual blocks; for dark oak, acacia and birch, it applies to each chunk.
21 lis 2016 · 2×2 spruce trees require a 5×5 column of unobstructed space at least 14 blocks above the saplings to grow (15 blocks including the saplings themselves). This column is centered on the northwestern sapling. A 3×3 area is required at the base of the tree (the level of the saplings). See if your setup meets that criteria.
1×1 spruce trees require a 5×5 column of unobstructed space at least 7 blocks above the sapling to grow (8 blocks including the sapling itself). No horizontal clearance is needed at the base of the tree and 1 level above.
Saplings have two growth stages (with no visible difference between them) before growing into trees. When a tree is to be grown, a height is chosen and then the ground and space above are checked; if the ground is bad or there is not space for the chosen height, the tree does not grow.
