  6. 16 sie 2022 · Previously, the best level to mine at was Y=11 (11 blocks above bedrock), where you were most likely to find all the ores you needed. With the new, rejigged ore generation, each ore has a different level where you're most likely to find it – and they don't match up at all.

  7. Tuff is very easy to mine through, and when you find a tuff ore vein while say caving or strip mining, its not a lot of deep slate in the way, and easily several hundred raw iron with fortune 3. Plus the occasional raw iron blocks which are 9 raw iron also.
