24 lip 2021 · Java popup: "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit." In the console: "Unrecognized option: -p". This is all immediately following my attempts to run the mod.
23 lut 2020 · Whenever I try to launch the 1.15.2 installer for forge it just say "A java exception has occurred". My java is up to date, I tried opening the installer with Java (TM) Platform SE Binary but i got the same error message as before im stumped.

Make sure you are using Java 17. In your startscript, replace the word java with the java path. Something like: "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17.0.6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar minecraft_server.jar pause. Keep the quotation marks and make sure the server jar name is matching
Apparently, Java Version 8 (the one you linked to) won't work. The person in the video used JDK 16, but I downloaded JDK 20 and it seems to work well. You can download it here https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk20-windows
I've been encountering major issues with forge 1.17.1. I tried downloading several different versions, and none of them work. Also, Optifine (Preview) 1.17.1 automatically makes the game crash (error code 0).
