7 ft 6 in (2.29 m) Mills Darden (October 7, 1799 – January 23, 1857 [1]) was an American who became famous as one of the largest men ever in human history. His enormous size both in terms of his body weight and height made him one of the biggest humans to have ever lived.
Born in 1799 in North Carolina, Darden reportedly grew to stand 7 feet, 6 inches and weigh just over 1,000 pounds. That’s more than a foot shorter than Wadlow, but more than double his weight. Or, to better help your imagination, picture André the Giant , but slightly taller and twice as heavy.

The Guinness Book of World Records (1977 ed.) accepts his weight as 1,020 pounds, second only to that of Robert Earl Hughes of Illinois, who died in 1958. Darden's height was 7 feet, 6 inches; his waist measurement was 6 feet, 4 inches.
