Mills Darden (October 7, 1799 – January 23, 1857 [1]) was an American who became famous as one of the largest men ever in human history. His enormous size both in terms of his body weight and height made him one of the biggest humans to have ever lived.
One Miles Darden equals two giant Andrés. Like Wadlow, André, and other giants, a malfunctioning pituitary gland likely caused Darden’s abnormal growth. No photos of Miles Darden exist.

Mills (or Miles) Darden, innkeeper and farmer, was reputed to be the heaviest human on record until the twentieth century. He was born on a farm near Rich Square in Northampton County but moved to Madison County, Tenn., about 1829.
