The Milan Metro (Italian: Metropolitana di Milano) is the rapid transit system serving Milan, Italy, operated by Azienda Trasporti Milanesi. The network consists of 5 lines with a total network length of 111.8 kilometres (69.5 mi), and a total of 125 stations (+2 in construction), mostly underground.
The Milan metro runs every day from 6 am until 12:30 am (midnight). On 25 December and 1 May, the metro opens from 7 am until 7:30 pm. The frequency of the Milan Metro depends on the time of day, on the line, and the day of the week, but generally, the trains arrive every 2-4 minutes.
