To solve it, I patched the Plus! installer itself to remove all OS and arch checks and repackaged it for easy access. Somewhat surprisingly, it still works great on Windows 10 and 11 64-bit, and although I haven't tested, 90% of the content should even work on Windows 9x!

15 kwi 2024 · You can try running it in compatibility mode, Right-click the program >"Properties" > Go to compatibility and run this program in compatibility mode for "Windows XP Service Pack 3". Unfortunately, if it doesn't work, it may not work because it is an old program made for Windows XP. Horace Wiggins.
I was able to install Microsoft plus for Windows XP on a Windows 10 machine. The games work flawlessly, and so do the media player skins. However, I was not able to get the themes to work; all it did was open the desktop icon settings, and so far have not been able to get the screensavers to work.
