20 kwi 2023 · If shortcuts are not working, you can Symbol utility in Office documents and Character Map in other applications. Follow the below steps, in order to use Symbol utility. Open Office document like Excel or Word. Go to “Insert > Symbol > More Symbols” menu. This will open Symbol utility. Change the font as “Wingdings” under “Symbols” tab.

In the “Paragraph” dialog box, ensure the “Indents and Spacing” tab is on. Next, in “Spacing” part, just choose one but “Exactly” for “Line spacing”. At lastly, click “OK”.

Go to Insert > Symbol. Pick a symbol, or choose More Symbols. Scroll up or down to find the symbol you want to insert. Different font sets often have different symbols in them and the most commonly used symbols are in the Segoe UI Symbol font set. Use the Font selector above the symbol list to pick the font you want to browse through.
21 wrz 2005 · Hi. Yesterday I noticed that that "Symbol" option under the "Insert" link has disappeared. Up until yesterday I believe it was right below "Autotext" But it isnt there anymore. And now i cant insert the symbols i need. Did i do something to remove it? How do I get it back??? thanks...
