25 paź 2001 · Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP was launched alongside the Windows XP operating system on October 25, 2001. This version of Plus! was created to show off the enhanced capabilities that Windows XP presented with its updated Windows Media Player and DirectX 3D core technologies.
On October 19, 2004, Microsoft replaced its two separate Plus! products for Windows XP with a single combined version called the Microsoft Plus! SuperPack for Windows XP. There were no new features or functionality added nor are the two separate products integrated.

17 sie 2024 · Microsoft Plus! is an expansion pack for the Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and XP operating systems. Each new version adds new features such as games, themes, and screensavers. Plus! for Windows 95 also included the very first version of Internet Explorer.
To solve it, I patched the Plus! installer itself to remove all OS and arch checks and repackaged it for easy access. Somewhat surprisingly, it still works great on Windows 10 and 11 64-bit, and although I haven't tested, 90% of the content should even work on Windows 9x!
