15 gru 2016 · I run Windows 7 64-bit and want to run XP to use old software. XP installed OK in VirtualBox, but the window in which it runs is 11" diagonally, even if I choose V iew/ F ull-screen mode in the XP window. Then the XP window just gets a thick black border but is still 11" diagonally.
11 kwi 2020 · The virtual machine works perfectly but when I run the game in fullscreen it remains small in the center and is not scaled to the screen resolution ( 1080p). Large black borders remain around. This, for example, also happens with the pre-installed 3D pinball game. Is there any way to fix this or the only way is to use vmware? Thanks in advance.
On the REAL XP, when run, the program would be in DOS mode of course and set the screen to the programs max. resolution, 800x600. Under real XP this would fill my screen. Under VB, it is about 1/4 of the screen as the HOST is 1600x1280 resolution.
