If password not update, again try to change password by follow the method to see the effect. In Outlook, choose File > Account Settings > Manage Profile Accounts>Email Accounts. Select Change.

15 wrz 2019 · Hi kathy, Are you using 2-step authentication? If not, gmail disables 'allow less secure apps'. when it thinks someone tried to get into your account. Go to https://myaccount.google.com/security-checkup and see if it says security issues found (it will) – then review them.
17 lis 2020 · I decided to change my password for my Gmail account. Using Account Settings ->Manage Profiles -> Email accounts I was able to enter my new password, but still had trouble. So, I enabled 2FA and entered the App Password.
