15 wrz 2019 · I went to try and look at the less secure apps setting and found that I had already changed to 2 step authentication a day or so ago. It didn't make any difference then. Today - on the Gmail web interface I was then faced with a request to allow Microsoft Apps and Services access to my account.
12 maj 2024 · Using the new Gmail Password I am able to log onto Gmail via the web, and have verified the new Gmail password is correct. However, when I changed the password for my Gmail account in Outlook it would not connect w/ the Gmail server.
8 cze 2022 · You can no longer turn on Basic Authentication for Gmail. Solution: Enable 2-Step Verification. The way to go is to enable “2-Step Verification” for your Google Account. This is a bit more work but also quite a bit more secure and highly recommended.
