If password not update, again try to change password by follow the method to see the effect. In Outlook, choose File > Account Settings > Manage Profile Accounts>Email Accounts. Select Change. Type the new password into the password field then select NEXT. Sometimes add-ins can conflict with Outlook.

17 lis 2020 · I decided to change my password for my Gmail account. Using Account Settings ->Manage Profiles -> Email accounts I was able to enter my new password, but still had trouble. So, I enabled 2FA and entered the App Password.

Go to https://myaccount.google.com/security-checkup and see if it says security issues found (it will) – then review them. If you don't use 2-step auth, check and see if allow less secure apps was disabled. --.

13 cze 2022 · If you have the Gmail accounts added to Outlook as POP accounts, you need to enable two-step verification and then use an app password in Outlook. Update the password (using the app password) in File > Account Settings > Update password if the enter password dialog does not come up.
